•Preference for using indigenous hardwoods in furniture. 

•No tropical timbers (unless recycled) 

•Sourcing local English oak if possible to use in joinery and furniture projects. 

 •Use of FSC (Forest steward council) and PEFC(Programme for the endorsement of forest certification) 

•Preference for using high quality birch ply, longer life span.

•Research into second use for plywood offcuts 

•The use of recycled wood in projects if possible 

•Carbon off setting through tree planting
